How does one write an about me?
I’ll start with the basics. I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. I speak English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. I graduated in 2014 from CU Boulder with a degree in economics.
I left Denver in October of 2015 after saving up some money to travel around. I went on several adventures, starting in the Caribbean and arriving in Colombia in November of that same year, which is where I currently live. I took a volunteer English-teaching position at a high school in Medellín. I will be teaching here until the end of 2016, and we will see what comes after.
My blog Black Coffee, White Linen will be a collection of my thoughts and experiences as I travel around, meet new people, and learn about different cultures. It is as much for me as it is for other people. The big dream with this blog is that maybe, just maybe, I can show someone something cool that they will want to do themselves or talk about at a cocktail party.
